Cedar Rapids, Iowa —
Eastern Iowa Health Center (EIHC) welcomes Madeline Stead, DDS as a new dental health provider.
Dr. Madeline Stead graduated from The University of Iowa College of Dentistry and Dental Clinics and will be providing dental care to patients at EIHC.
Dr. Stead is excited to join the team at Eastern Iowa Health Center. “There are so many barriers that low-income patients may face while seeking health care. I felt passionate about being a part of such a great health center and providing the best care to the widest range of patients,” said Dr. Stead.
Since opening its doors in 2017, EIHC’s dental health clinic has increased access to preventive and urgent dental services for thousands of low-income patients living in Benton, Iowa, Johnson, Jones and Linn counties. In 2018, EIHC provided oral healthcare services to 4,513 unduplicated patients in 8,822 visits.
