CRMEF Executive Officer
Cedar Rapids Medical Education Foundation: Provides advanced medical training and education in family practice following graduation from medical school. Residents provide excellent care, using a team approach to meet the needs of their patients. As a patient this means that you can request to see your primary resident when you make your appointment but if they are not available, you may be scheduled with another resident that is on your resident’s team. The staff physician may or may not come into see you during a clinic visit. You can request to talk to the staff physician at anytime during your visit. Occasionally, you may be seen by a visiting medical student in clinic who is shadowing a resident.
