Clinic Manager

Full-Time Position

CMA/LPN/RN

Full-Time or Part-Time Position

Eastern Iowa Health Center is seeking a CMA/LPN/RN for family medicine and pediatric practice.

Responsibilities include: rooming patients, assisting with medical procedures, administering vaccines, phone triage and accurate and complete medical intake. Candidate should possess prior experience, excellent computer and communication skills, the ability to work independently and a strong knowledge of medical terminology. Flexible hours required during EIHC operating hours of Monday and Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, and Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 8:00 AM-7:00 PM.

Nurse Practitioner

Full-Time Position

Eastern Iowa Health Center is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP).

This position is primarily outpatient with some possibility of doing inpatient rounding. In the outpatient clinic, the NP will see patients from newborns through geriatric ages providing preventative care, acute care and chronic disease management. The NP will not see prenatal patients unless it is for a condition unrelated to pregnancy and not after 14 weeks in gestation. The inpatient practice would likely be uncomplicated adult medicine only. The ideal candidate would be willing to work some evening hours and occasional Saturdays.

Patient Advocate

Part-Time Position

Eastern Iowa Health Center is seeking a Patient Advocate.

This position is responsible for efficient and accurate patient scheduling via phone and in person, including reception, co-pay collection, and other office duties. The Patient Advocate obtains all necessary information from patient, including photo ID, insurance cards, and additional necessary paperwork. This position is also responsible for qualifying patients for EIHC sliding fee scale and providing insurance applications.

Candidates should be knowledgeable about community resources, and possess excellent computer skills, customer service and communication skills.
